Cherry Girl is a character created as part of MTV Switch, a multi-platform campaign designed to inspire and promote environmentally-conscious lifestyles for MTV's youth audience.
What we did

Ideacodes had the pleasure of working with the social responsibility division of MTV Networks International on the launch of the microsite for Cherry Girl, their newest global talent. At MTVCherryGirl, visitors can find out more about her intriguing philosophy of life.

The MTV audience will be able to check out this exciting new discovery on-air, online and via mobile when she makes her debut on the channel as part of Earth Day 2009. Off-screen, Cherry Girl will be regularly updating her blog, where she will interact with visitors. At the MTV Cherry Girl microsite, visitors will also be able to view the 60-second production online and can visit the “play” section of the website to take part in competitions. In addition, you can become a fan of Cherry Girl on Facebook. and follow her moves on Twitter.

Ideacodes worked with MTV Networks International Director of Social Responsibility and the Head of Digital Strategy and Creative Concepts at MTV to produce the microsite for Cherry Girl.
